Job summary

Ace Precision Machining seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers, working with aerospace-grade materials to produce precision components and finished goods.

You will read complex drawings, verify programs, and inspect parts, while collaborating with Programming, Engineering, and Quality to drive process improvements. Competitive benefits and steady shifts available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of CNC experience.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances on aerospace materials.
• GD&T proficiency and blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers to produce precision sheet metal components.
• Load tools, set offsets, verify programs, and produce quality parts.
• Read drawings, models, and GD&T requirements.
• Edit programs on machine to improve quality and tool life per quality system.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and CMM reports.
• Collaborate with Programming, Engineering, and Quality on process improvements.
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow quality system and safety rules.
• Stay productive by running multiple machines.
• Work as a team to build quality products.

What You Will Do

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills and turning centers to produce precision sheet metal components and finished goods

• Read and interpret complex drawings, models, and GD&T requirements
• Make on-machine edits to improve quality, efficiency, and tool life in accordance with our quality system
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM reports, and visual inspection
• Work closely with Programming, Engineering, and Quality on process improvements
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and basic maintenance
• Follow quality system and safety rules
• Stay productive by running multiple machines simultaneously
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on

What Experience You Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with minimum of three years of related CNC experience
• Strong ability to hold tight tolerances on complex geometries on preferably aerospace materials (titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum)
• Proficient with GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and in-process inspection methods
• Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset
