Ace Precision in Wisconsin is hiring a skilled CNC 5-axis Milling Setup Machinist to set up and operate CNC Milling Centers, machining metal parts to tight tolerances.

You will read sketches, verify tolerances, adjust tooling, and work with inspectors to ensure conformance. Prior experience with multi-axis machining and metrology equipment is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC milling centers with five-axis capability.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches and tolerances, perform basic inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Centers for metallic parts.
• Interpret sketches, routings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Verify dimensions with inspection equipment and report deviations.
• Maintain tight tolerances and finish specifications; supervise tool offsets and sequences.
• Work multiple machines to maximize efficiency and tool utilization.

Ace Precision is hiring a skilled CNC 5-Axis Milling Setup Machinist to set up and operate CNC Milling Centers to machine repetitive work on metallic parts. If you’re looking for a reliable opportunity in a hands-on environment, we encourage you to apply!**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**Works from and interprets fairly complicated sketches, routings, and product specifications to determine product dimensions and tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.Conceptualizes multiple axis movement, up to and including five axis.Sets up, adjusts, verifies programming, and operates CNC Milling Centers and tools.Detects machining operation malfunctions and out-of-tolerance dimensions.Recognizes and reports process variations, operational and tooling sequences, tool offsets, dimensional and finish deviations, and assists with making corrective adjustments within prescribed limitations.Operates multiple machines concurrently in order to maximize efficiency and effectively utilize resources.Maintains close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications through the use of various inspection measuring equipment, including bore gages, rail gages, and ID and OD micrometers.
