Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Mastercam experience preferred.
• Ability to manage and organize the workflow of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive management and work group.

Responsibilities

• Creates instructions for machinists.
• Translates CAD designs into CAM programs.
• Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
• Determines sequence of operations in a program.
• Assists with writing programs and modifies existing ones for efficiency.
• Monitors programs to ensure safe and correct execution.
