Job summary

Palmetto State Armory L is seeking a full-time CNC Machine Operator in West Columbia, SC to fabricate high-precision machined components. You will run CNC equipment, load/unload, measure, and perform routine dimensional adjustments following drawings and operator instructions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–6 months related experience, ability to read safety rules, SOPs and engineering drawings, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand Safety Rules, SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to operate CNC equipment.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to use calibrated test and measuring equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the work group and apply problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety Principles.
• Adhere to Quality System Standards.
• Operate CNC machines including Saws, CNC lathes, Gun drill and CNC mills.
• Make adjustments to maintain specifications from drawings and instructions.
• Measure components and test assemblies with calibrated equipment.
• Prepare documentation such as Product Acceptance Records and Nonconforming Material Reports.
• All other duties as assigned.
