Job summary
US Cargo Systems in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for contract work focused on sustaining and improving productivity by reducing setups and migrating to newer machines.
You will develop CNC programs, create setups, support operators, optimize processes, and maintain documentation under QA standards. 5+ years in CNC programming with Master CAM, SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and familiarity with FANUC/HAAS/MAZATROL is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in CNC programming.
- Proficiency with Master CAM, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SolidCAM.
- Strong understanding of FANUC, HAAS, MAZATROL controls.
- Experience with lathes and mills and setup/maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and interpret CNC programs from drawings for machining operations.
- Plan setups for CNC operations, including tools and fixtures.
- Assist setup operators in verifying CNC programs.
- Set up and configure CNC machines, load materials and select tools.
- Conduct test runs and adjust programs for accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machine performance issues and quality output.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineering to optimize processes.
- Maintain records of programming changes and machine settings.
- Ensure safety protocols and QA standards are followed.
- Provide technical support and training for operators.
