Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator to join our day-to-day production in Hillside, IL. The role requires operating CNC mills/lathes, aligning fixtures, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates will have deep hole drilling experience, mechanical aptitude, and a readiness to advance through training. We offer a supportive work environment with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Machining and manufacturing experience.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Willing to enroll in tech/trade school to expand CNC skills.
• Able to lift 30 pounds and stand 8+ hours.
• English required for instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills and lathes per specifications.
• Align fixtures, measure with micrometers and calipers to verify tolerances.
• Monitor feeds and speeds; adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and conformance to specs.
• Load/unload machines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

One of the most trusted and leading tier-1 automotive manufacturers in the United States has created an opening for a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator with an experienced level manufacturing technical skill to work in day to day production at one of Dynamic’s remanufacturing facilities.The ideal CNC Set-up Technician/Operator will have an understanding of working in a manufacturing environment, exhibit a technical aptitude, preferably experience with deep hole drilling and assist in the production operations of the machine shop.
