Aerotek is seeking a Set Up Operator in Aurora, IL to set up and operate CNC and other fabrication equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will perform die changeovers, monitor material usage, read blueprints and BOMs, and verify part dimensions with precision tools.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and bills of material.
• Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC and related machinery.
• Perform die changeovers to support production schedules.
• Monitor material usage and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Read blueprints and BOMs for accurate setups and runs.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify parts.
