Job summary

CoorsTek in Worcester, MA seeks a CNC Set-Up II for Swing Shift to load and adjust CNC programs, set tooling, and produce conforming parts per drawings and quality specs.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing in-process inspection, and assisting in training junior staff. Requires 2 years CNC experience; 3 years preferred; high school diploma or technical certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years relevant CNC manufacturing experience
• Three years relevant CNC experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
• Vocational or technical certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-axis CNC set-up by loading preset programs and adjusting tooling and parameters.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce conforming parts per work instructions.
• Read and interpret drawings/blueprints and GD&T requirements to determine setup and inspection needs.
• Perform in-process inspection and record results, adjusting programs as needed.
