Job summary

CoorsTek in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an entry-level CNC Set-Up I to load and adjust preset CNC programs, operate machines, and inspect parts in a temperature-controlled environment. The role offers swing and night shifts, a 2.50 per hour incentive, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and team collaboration in a growing ceramics manufacturing setting. You will receive ongoing training and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3 years relevant CNC experience
• Ability to read and interpret programs and blueprints
• Familiarity with GD&T and SPC tools

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC set-up by loading preset programs and making minor adjustments
• Operate CNC equipment to produce parts per work instructions
• Conduct in-process inspection and record results
• Make minor machine offset adjustments and basic maintenance
• Move and stage product safely using pallet jacks, forklifts or hoists
• Maintain clean and safe work area and wear PPE at all times
