Job summary

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC in Pennsylvania seeks a waterjet operator who uses CAD/CAM to finalize designs from customer sketches and diagrams, then programs and runs the waterjet to produce accurate parts. You will read job specs, adjust machine settings, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and ensure dimensional tolerances while prioritizing work to meet customer and company goals.

Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm, on-site; lifting up to 50 lbs and independent work ability

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM software to finalize designs from customer’s preliminary drawings and diagrams to determine dimensions and tolerances for finished product.
• Operate waterjet to accurately complete customer orders
• Read job specifications to determine and maintain machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.

Summary
