Job summary

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC is seeking a production technician to operate waterjet equipment and refine customer sketches with CAD/CAM tools. The role focuses on producing high-quality metal parts while following drawings and tolerances.

You will read specifications, adjust machines, and measure parts with precision tools. The work involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining consistent workflow in a full-time daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software and measuring tools.
• Strong math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM software to finalize designs from customer drawings and determine dimensions and tolerances for finished product.
• Operate waterjet to accurately complete customer orders.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Use micrometers and calipers to perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Continuously measure work-piece dimensions to ensure specification accuracy during machine operation.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.

Summary

Role & Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM software to finalize designs from customer’s preliminary drawings and diagrams to determine dimensions and tolerances for finished product.
• Operate waterjet to accurately complete customer orders.
• Read job specifications to determine and maintain machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Use quality inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers to perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Continuously measure work‑piece dimensions to ensure constant specification accuracy during machine operation.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company performance goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EnRoute software.
• Hands‑on waterjet and/or laser cutter experience.
• ERP computer system experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.
