Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Carbide Manufacturing in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and related equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults, perform preventative maintenance, repair CNC machinery, and help train junior technicians. Candidates must lift 50 lbs+ and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications

Experience with CNC grinding and/or machining equipment preferred.
Ability to follow safety protocols and lift 50 lbs+.
Strong communication skills with team and supervisors.
Preventive maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Examine machines to diagnose issues, dismantle, replace parts, and reassemble for efficient operation.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
Repair CNC machines and/or robotics and perform general preventative maintenance.
May provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.
