Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. is seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Berlin, WI. The role involves keeping plant machinery in good working order, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on various machines, including CNC and robotics.

Qualifications

• Three years of preventive industrial maintenance experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Previous experience with CNC grinding or machining equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine machines to diagnose trouble and perform repairs.
• Repair modern CNC machines and/or robotics.
• Provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.

Skills

Ability to work under limited supervision

Ability to communicate effectively

Three years preventive industrial maintenance experience

Experience with CNC grinding or machining equipment

General knowledge of basic hand tools

HVAC skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs+
