Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in Burnet, TX is hiring a Rebar Fabricator Crewmember to operate CNC rebar equipment, read bar lists, and verify production specs. You will set up tooling, inspect finished rebar, and maintain records. This full-time role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely output.

Expect starting pay of $22 per hour. Candidates should have 1–2 years in CNC/machine operation or related manufacturing, with willingness to work overtime and lift heavy materials. Training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets bar lists, bending schedules, and production tickets.
• Understands measurements, dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
• Uses basic measuring tools accurately.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and equipment issues.
• Works independently and as part of a production team.
• Follows PPE policies and safety procedures.
• Maintains accuracy and quality in production records.
• Capable of lifting up to 80–100 pounds and handling steel materials.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC rebar fabrication equipment and related tooling.
• Reads bar lists and production tickets to set up machines.
• Verifies and adjusts machine programs and dimensions as required.
• Maintains safe, clean work area and completes paperwork.
• Identifies issues and notifies supervision for repairs.
• Meets production schedules while upholding quality and safety.
