Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in Burnet, TX is seeking a Rebar Fabricator Crewmember to safely operate CNC rebar fabrication equipment and produce reinforcing steel according to customer specifications. You will read bar lists, adjust machine programs, and ensure quality and efficiency on production schedules.

The role requires familiarity with measurement tools, proper PPE, and the ability to work overtime as needed in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands bar lists and production specifications.
• Understanding of measurements, dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
• Use of basic measuring tools accurately.
• Troubleshoots mechanical aptitude and equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC rebar fabrication equipment, including cutting, bending, and/or shaping machinery.
• Reads and interprets bar lists, bending schedules, and production tickets.
• Enters, verifies, and adjusts machine programs and production dimensions as required.
• Sets up machines and verifies proper tooling, measurements, and machine settings before production.
