Job summary

Ketchie Inc. in Concord, North Carolina is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full RFQ lifecycle, analyze technical and cost components, and ensure quotes meet customer specs and profitability.

You will coordinate with sales, production, and quality teams to balance technical decisions with margins, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction, while driving continuous improvement across the shop.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with new part launches and prove-outs is a plus.
• Deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and cutting parameters.
• Proficiency in Time Study Analysis; ERP & MRP systems experience; AS9100 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• RFQ and quotation management from receipt to order review.
• Analyze manufacturing cost factors and prepare quotations.
• Collaborate with machinists, materials, and quality to refine estimates.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement and profitability while maintaining quality.
