Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an experienced Estimator in Cincinnati, OH to determine manufacturing steps, costs and quotations for complex machine shop parts. The role involves analyzing drawings, BOMs and specifications, coordinating with customers on proposals, and assisting with work instructions for new or revised projects.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC quoting experience in a job shop, strong knowledge of tooling, and familiarity with ERP planning modules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Machine Shop Estimating/Quoting experience for medium to high complexity parts.
• Experience reading drawings, BOMs, and process specifications.
• Knowledge of tooling for specific applications and machining processes.
• Experience with planning and manufacturing modules of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare formal price and delivery quotations for management and customers.
• Calculate production costs using labor, raw materials and processing estimates.
• Communicate with customers on proposals and projects.
• Assist in preparing work instructions for new/revised projects.
• May have other duties assigned.
• Must be self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
