Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc. in Ohio seeks a dedicated CNC Programmer to join our Operations team. You will translate customer drawings into precise machine language using AutoCAD and Sigmanest, ensuring quality parts and efficient production.

The role requires 1–3 years of programming experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to interact with customers and suppliers. A high school diploma is required; technical training is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Technical Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a programming position.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sigmanest nesting software and various machine codes to communicate with CNC machine controllers (understanding of M-G code).
• Familiarity with SigmaNest software.
• Strong math skills, strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Program parts for processing on all equipment: plate cutting (Oxy-Fuel and plasma), machining, plate laser, piece finishing.
• Create piece-part nests to improve material utilization.
• Adjust drawings based on customer need, equipment downtime, operator feedback, etc.
• Interact with customers and suppliers on a daily basis.
• Customer satisfaction management of Quality with a 98% on-time delivery requirement.
• Daily compliance with job work instructions.
• Identification and implementation of continuous improvements in all work processes.
