Ryerson is seeking a dedicated CNC Programmer to join our Operations team. You will translate customer drawings into precise machine language using AutoCAD, Sigmanest, and SigmaNest, programming for multiple CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of programming experience, strong math, and excellent communication skills. This on-site role emphasizes continuous improvement, customer interaction, and quality-focused production.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of programming experience is required.
• Strong math and good communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sigmanest, and machine code communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Program parts for processing on all CNC equipment (plate cutting, machining, laser).
• Create nests to improve material utilization.
• Adjust drawings as needed based on customer requirements and feedback.
• Interact with customers and suppliers daily to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure quality with on-time delivery targets and comply with work instructions.
• Identify continuous improvements in processes and methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
