The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a CNC Programmer for a client in Buffalo, NY, a manufacturer of temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable and harness assemblies. You will develop and optimize CNC programs to translate engineering requirements into safe, efficient machining processes that meet dimensional and finish specs.

Competenze

Practical CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to machining processes.
Working knowledge of G-code, M-code, machining principles, cutting tools, and workholding.
Experience with CAD/CAM software, program verification, and shop-floor troubleshooting.
Ability to use precision inspection tools and communicate effectively with machinists and engineers.

Mansioni

Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs from drawings and requirements.
Develop machining sequences and select tools, holders, workholding, speeds, and setups.
Use CAD/CAM tools and verification methods to identify risks before release.
Support first-piece prove-outs, machine setups, troubleshooting, and program adjustments.
Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, tool life, surface finish, and dimensional consistency.
Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, program documentation, and operator instructions; maintain revision control.
Collaborate with quality to address dimensional issues and verify print compliance.
Assist with fixture concepts and provide feedback on manufacturability.
