Job summary

Enprotech in North America is seeking a skilled CNC programmer to join our team in Michigan. You will translate blueprints into precise machine instructions, program lathes and mills, and optimize toolpaths for quality parts.

The role demands strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. You’ll work with engineers and machinists, select tools, set up machines, test programs, and troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification or equivalent experience.
• Five years' CNC programming experience on lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading is required with a high level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting blueprints and designs to determine shape, dimensions and tolerances.
• Developing CNC programs: create/modify G-code, toolpaths, speeds and feeds.
• Choosing appropriate tools, fixtures, and equipment based on material and geometry.
• Setting up and adjusting CNC machines, including tool selection and clamping.
• Testing and troubleshooting programs, resolving errors and optimizing performance.
• Staying current with CNC technology and manufacturing processes.
