Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is hiring a CNC Operator II for 3rd shift (10:45pm - 7:15am) or 2nd shift. You will run and program multiple machines to blueprint specifications and support 5-axis setups to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include machine setup, loading/unloading, gauging, inspecting and recording results, plus training new operators and troubleshooting issues. HS diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• 2 year technical degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Program, set-up and operate multiple machines using blueprints or specifications.
• Complete complex computer controlled setup using the HMI to adjust programs or machines (5-axis & above).
• Load and off-load product from multiple machines.
• Gage product to insure proper dimensions and inspect for defects.
• Train new operators when required.
• Trouble shoot quality and machine issues from moderate to complex.
