Job summary

Staging Dimensions in New Castle, DE, seeks a CNC Programmer / Operator / Fabricator for full-time, on-site work. You will read drawings, program CNC equipment, set up machines, and produce components for standard and custom staging systems.

You will interpret technical drawings, generate and adjust CNC programs, select tools and materials, perform test runs, and ensure parts meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and create Technical Drawings for fabrication and staging components.
• Proficiency in CNC Programming, including writing, modifying, and optimizing programs for production efficiency and accuracy.
• Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling operations, including machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
• General Programming skills related to CNC controls, G-code, and relevant software tools.
• Previous experience in metal or wood fabrication, staging, scenic construction, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, measurement accuracy, and quality control practices.
• Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and safely operate shop equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers, designers, and fabrication staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining, CNC technology, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Daily tasks include routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting machining issues, and collaborating with the fabrication and scenic teams to meet project deadlines.
