Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join a well-established local team in Chicago. The role involves setting up and running a CNC horizontal boring mill, reading complex blueprints, and selecting tooling for large, custom components.

You will create and optimize Mastercam programs, adjust machine parameters for efficiency and quality, and inspect parts with precision instruments to ensure engineering specs are met. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Sets up, programs, and runs a CNC horizontal boring mill to produce parts with minimal supervision.
• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specs to choose tooling, work holding, and setups for large components.
• Creates, edits, and optimizes Mastercam programs for boring and multi-axis milling with G-code/M-code proficiency.
• Makes program and machine adjustments to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Inspects finished parts with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and indicators to specs.
• Troubleshoots machining and programming issues while meeting production deadlines.
• Operates forklift and lifting devices; maintains clean, safe work area.

A well established local company is looking to add a CNC Programmer/Operator to their growing team. They are seeking someone with client facing wealth management/financial planning experience.

Qualified candidates will have experience with most of the following:

• Set up, program, and run a CNC horizontal boring mill to produce quality parts with minimal supervision
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs to choose tooling, work holding, and setups for large, custom components
• Create, edit, and optimize Mastercam programs for boring and multi-axis milling, with G-code and M-code proficiency
• Make program and machine adjustments to improve efficiency, accuracy, and part quality
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gages, indicators) to meet engineering specs
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues while meeting production deadlines
• Operate a forklift and lifting devices, keep the work area clean, and follow all safety and quality standards
• Bring CNC HBM experience in heavy manufacturing, with strong setup skills on large, low-volume parts and knowledge of tool holders, boring bars, and inserts
