Job summary

The Hunting Dearborn Division is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for our Fryeburg, ME facility. You will design and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, mill-turns, and grinders, selecting tools and work-holding, and generating stable G-code.

3–5 years of related experience, strong math and GD&T skills, and excellent communication are required. Join a leading manufacturer with a history of collaboration and growth, offering a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Understand complex GD&T.
• Experience using Cartesian coordinates system.
• SolidWorks 3D modeling software usage.
• Manual G-code programming experience.
• Mastercam CAD/CAM software usage.
• Vericut simulation software experience.

Responsibilities

• CNC programming of mills, lathes, mill-turns, and grinders.
• Programming for Siemens, Fanuc and Heidenhain.
• Resolve process and program issues.
• Collaborate with team to provide cutter path support.
• Determine tooling and work-holding requirements.
• Develop new processes with the team.
