Job summary

Hunting in Fryeburg, ME is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join its Dearborn Division. Hunting's Dearborn Division is seeking experienced CNC Machinists involving lathes, mills, and grinders to join own team in Fryeburg, ME. Responsibilities
  • Set-up and run CNC equipment to prove out new machining processes and G-code.
  • Perform CNC machine adjustments and program edits.
  • Set-up Machine Tooling and provide maintenance.
  • Use various types of inspection tools.
  • Perform setup operations to process documents.
  • Perform basic part measurement inspections.
  • Maintain traceability (product, material, and calibration).
  • Load parts with hoist system.
  • Create, inspect, and document part features.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years CNC experience or 2 years CNC experience with associate’s degree.
  • Ability to read blueprints and familiarity with GD&T.
  • Experience with CNC machine setup and G-code programming.
  • Experience with common measuring devices.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic shop math.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning Tolerance.
  • Knowledge of Cartesian coordinate system.
  • Safe work habits.

Work Environment/Conditions
  • Monday to Friday Day Shift schedule, 8 or more hours shifts.
  • Monday to Thursday Night Shift schedule, 10-hour shifts.
