Job summary

Numalliance - North America, Inc. seeks a skilled CNC Programmer for immediate placement in our Ohio facility. You will generate cutting paths, program machines, and work from shop documentation, drawings, and quality requirements to ensure accurate, on-time parts.

3–5 years of hands-on experience with MasterCAM and blueprints is required. You will collaborate with machine operators and engineers to optimize setups, reduce costs, and improve productivity in a non-production, engineer-to-order

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in MasterCAM software
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions
• Good analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
• Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
• Consider tools required to cut different materials and program machines accordingly.
• Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools, and machine speeds and feed rates.
• Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths.
• Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures, and outline sequence of operations required to machine part.
• Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machine.
• Write program of machine instructions to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
• Interface with machine operators as needed to ensure optimum machine programming.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management
