Job summary

BMC Metalworks, LLC in Columbia, Tennessee, is seeking a CNC Programmer, Machinist, Setup to join our 3,000 sq ft precision shop. You will set up, program, and operate HAAS mills and lathes, and work from engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years CNC programming experience (Surfcam and Mastercam), strong attention to safety, and good attendance. We offer full-time day and night shifts with hourly pay commensurate with skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years CNC programming experience
• Experience with Surfcam and Mastercam
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T

Responsibilities

• Program one-off parts and small to medium runs in Surfcam or Mastercam
• Set up HAAS milling and lathe machines
• Perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers and inspection gauges
• Maintain CNC mill and other machines with preventive maintenance methods
• Continually evaluate machine tooling and software for improvements
