Job summary

Talent Search Pro in Morristown, TN is seeking a skilled machinist who can run parts start to finish using CNC and manual equipment. You will read prints, program in Mastercam, set up Haas machines, prove out your programs, and deliver quality parts on time.

You’ll work with a mix of Haas VF-2D, VF-4, UMC-500 5-axis, a few lathes, surface grinders, and ERP traveler tracking. Safety and precision are non-negotiable in every job.

Qualifications

• Proven experience running parts start to finish, CNC and manual.
• You read prints without help.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• You can set up a mill or lathe and prove out your own program.
• You inspect your own parts and know when one is out.
• Quality, On-Time Delivery and Safety are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and figure out the process.
• Program the part in Mastercam.
• Set up the machine: fixtures, tooling, and work offsets.
• Run the job, hold tolerance, fix problems.
• Inspect finished parts against the print.
• Finish the part: deburr and grind as needed.
• Track the job in the ERP system for traveler accuracy.
• Run the job safely and ship on time.
