Job summary

Cinova Medical, Inc. in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a full-time, hands-on CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our manufacturing team.

You will program using Mastercam/PowerMill, create cutter paths from SolidWorks models, set up and operate CNC machines, and read blueprints to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CNC programming and setup experience, knowledge of Mastercam and PowerMill, and a strong eye for tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC programming, setup and operation
• Experience with Mastercam and/or PowerMill
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks
• Mold making or mold repair experience (injection molds strongly preferred but not necessary)
• Comfort holding tight tolerances (±0.0005\" or better)
• Willingness to work on your own as well as with the team

Responsibilities

• Write and edit CNC programs in Mastercam and PowerMill
• Work from SolidWorks models and drawings to plan machining of mold components
• Set up, program, and run CNC machining centers
• Pick tooling, fixtures, feeds and speeds, and work holding
• Hard milling & surfacing
• Check parts with calipers, micrometers, height gages, pins and other inspection tools
• Find and fix machining problems, then improve cycle times
