Job summary

Cinova Medical, Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking a full-time, hands-on CNC Programmer/Machinist to join the team. You will write and edit CNC programs, set up and run CNC centers, and work from SolidWorks models to plan mold component machining.

The role requires 3–5 years CNC experience, familiarity with Mastercam/PowerMill, and tight tolerance capability. Equal opportunity employer; E-Verify in effect.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC programming, setup and operation.
• Experience with Mastercam and/or PowerMill.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Mold making or mold repair experience (injection molds strongly preferred but not necessary).
• Comfort holding tight tolerances (±0.0005" or better).
• Willingness to work on your own as well as with the team.
• Wire or sinker EDM experience a plus but not necessary.
• Surface grinding a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit CNC programs in Mastercam and PowerMill.
• Work from SolidWorks models and drawings to plan machining of mold components.
• Set up, program, and run CNC machining centers.
• Pick tooling, fixtures, feeds and speeds, and work holding.
• Hard milling & surfacing.
• Check parts with calipers, micrometers, height gages, pins and other inspection tools.
• Find and fix machining problems, then improve cycle times.
