Job summary

M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp. in Orange County is seeking an experienced CNC Operator-Programmer to set up, program and run CNC mills to tight tolerances for medical and dental components.

You will read CAD models and blueprints, monitor tool wear and cycle times, optimize machining parameters and verify quality with precision inspection tools while working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced shop. Mastercam experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience programming and operating CNC mills.
• Mastercam experience required.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and follow CAD models and blueprints.
• Experience with tight tolerance machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up own work, programming and operating CNC mills.
• Reading, interpreting, and following CAD models and blueprints.
• Must be capable of monitoring machine performance (tool wear, cycle time, product quality) and address issues.
• Setting up and programming machines for unattended night runs.
