Job summary

Randstad USA in Tennessee is seeking CNC Programmer Machinists to set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts. Responsibilities include loading tools, selecting chucks, and aligning fixtures for accurate cuts.

You will program one-off parts and small-to-medium runs using Surfcam or Mastercam, inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, and uphold safety standards in a smoke-free, on-site shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with CAD, CAM and software programs at intermediate to advanced level while training toward full knowledge.
• Machining mechanical parts to drawings using milling/drilling equipment.
• Plan machining by reviewing orders, blueprints and GD&T.
• Program one-off parts and small-to-medium runs in Surfcam or Mastercam.
• Set up HAAS milling and lathe machines.
• Operate calipers, gauges, micrometers, and QC tools.
• Maintain CNC mill and other machines using preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate machine, tooling, and software to improve knowledge and cycle times.
• Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and tools.
• Create machine set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements.
