Job summary

Noble Company is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to design parts and program them for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers. You will move parts from 3D models to finished programs, engaging a small, collaborative team with plenty of autonomy.

You’ll design as much as you program, collaborating on product development, prototyping, and process improvements while ensuring high quality and efficiency. The role offers a Monday–Friday day schedule with room to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Hands-on CAD design experience creating or modifying 3D models and drawings.
• SolidWorks and SolidCAM strongly preferred; MasterCam/PowerMill also considered.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and setups.
• Backgrounds in automotive, furniture, aerospace, machine shops, tooling, or metal fabrication welcome.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for parts, fixtures, and products.
• Develop and optimize programs for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers that machine foam and plastics.
• Evaluate models and programs; rebuild them in SolidWorks/SolidCAM while transitioning from PowerMill.
• Improve fixturing, tooling, setups, and machining efficiency.
• Support new product development, prototyping, and product enhancements.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues; partner with operations and quality teams.
• Work closely with CNC operators and assist production as needed.
