Job summary

Noble Company in Michigan designs and manufactures premium building products. We seek an experienced CNC Programmer who designs parts and programs them, taking parts from 3D model to finished program.

This role blends hands-on CAD with CAM in a small team with latitude to improve processes. You’ll develop and optimize programs for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers, machine foam and plastic, rebuild models in SolidWorks/SolidCAM, improve fixturing and setups, and support prototyping and new product

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3-5+ years CNC programming experience.
Hands-on CAD design experience creating or modifying 3D models and drawings.
SolidWorks/SolidCAM experience preferred; PowerMill/Mastercam acceptable.

Responsibilities

Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings for parts, fixtures, and products.
Develop and optimize programs for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers for foam and plastic.
Rebuild models in SolidWorks/SolidCAM as PowerMill transitions proceed.
Improve fixturing, tooling, setups, and machining efficiency.
Support prototyping and new product development; troubleshoot quality issues.
Work with CNC operators and assist production when needed.
