- Technical degree or certification or hands-on experience in CNC programming/manufacturing technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs and post-processors for multi-axis machining centers.
- Create efficient machining strategies and toolpaths to improve cycle times and surface finish.
- Program and support CNC equipment including mill-turn and machining centers.
- Validate CNC programs through machine prove-outs and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with Production Engineering to implement repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Develop CNC automation solutions, including macros and probing routines.
- Establish and maintain programming standards and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining efficiency, quality, and capability.
