Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical degree or vocational experience required.
• Programming experience with Delcam Powermill a plus.
• Solid modeling with Creo a plus.
• Laser-scanning and portable CMM experience a plus.
• Experience in metrology a plus.
• Capable computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using Delcam Powermill for sand-cast components with optimized speeds and tooling.
• Set-up, operate, and maintain a robotic cell for machining sand molds and tooling.
• Execute machining duties to prove out programs on new production and prototype work.
• Lead and participate in problem-solving across production and computing environments to resolve program issues and optimize tooling.
• Develop and maintain programs for Maus automated grinding work cell.
• Establish relationships with equipment suppliers and implement best materials and techniques.
• Assist in Mold-handling program requirements and train others to be self-sufficient in production.
