Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in production or aerospace.
• Experience with high-precision aerospace machining preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC toolpaths from 3D models and drawings.
• Select cutting strategies matched to material and cycle times.
• Choose tools and parameters for each operation.
• Post-process toolpaths to machine-specific G-code.
• Prove out programs on machine and monitor for accuracy.
• Optimize cycle times by reducing air cuts.
• Write setup sheets with tools, offsets, speeds, and inspections.
• Modify programs for engineering changes without compromising quality.
• Create and maintain a program library with version control.
• Maintain tool life with proven cutting strategies.
• Machining background in Titanium, Inconel, stainless, Aluminum.
