Job summary

Aerotek in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a CNC Programmer to join a small prototype shop. You will collaborate with experienced designers, engineers, machinists, and fabricators to program, set up 5-axis mills, run parts, and assist in programming new prototype parts.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum experience in machine programming and setup.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, Mastercam, SolidWorks, GD&T, and mill programming.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Operate and program 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling and CNC turning, preferably using Haas and DMG Mori/Siemens Control.
• Engage in CAM programming, setup/fixture design, and run, with a preference for MasterCAM.
• Manage projects, schedule tasks, inspect, conduct CMM, ensure quality control, and maintain related documentation.
• Continuously learn and improve, pursuing a passion for creating precision parts and assemblies.
• Order necessary tooling and materials to complete jobs.
• Communicate improvements and optimizations to the engineering department.
