The role requires a strong machining background, ability to translate engineering intent into efficient machining strategies, and collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve manufacturability and process performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAM software, preferably Mastercam.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, and process optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and other CAM software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to develop machining strategies.
• Select tooling, cutting parameters, and fixturing solutions to maximize performance.
• Simulate and verify toolpaths to ensure accuracy and prevent collisions.
• Support CNC machinists and operators with setup instructions and technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues on the production floor.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle times and increasing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve manufacturability and process performance.
• Maintain program documentation, revision control, and backups.
• Ensure all machining processes meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.
