Qualifications

3+ years CNC programming in manufacturing environments.
Strong machining background with tooling, fixturing, setup practices.
Proficient in CAM software, preferably Mastercam.
Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc, Mazak).
Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, and optimization.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
Interpret drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to develop machining strategies.
Select tooling, cutting parameters, and fixturing for performance.
Simulate and verify toolpaths to prevent collisions.
Support machinists with setup instructions and guidance.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to improve manufacturability.
Maintain program documentation, revision control, and backups.
Ensure processes meet quality, safety, and customer requirements.
