Job summary

Plant Professionals Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer (Level I–III) in Matthews, NC. You will develop, validate, and optimize advanced CNC programs for tight-tolerance components using 5-axis machining with Mastercam, SolidWorks and Vericut.

Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations and Quality to design tooling, create setup sheets, and support continuous improvement while maintaining aerospace-grade workmanship and conformance to GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with CNC programming experience preferred.
• 3–8+ years multi-axis CNC programming with 5-axis exposure highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Mastercam, SolidWorks, Vericut; GD&T per ASME Y14.5 required or attainable within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis/multi-axis machines.
• Create tooling strategies, setup docs, and process plans with engineering and QA.
• Provide shop-floor support and maintain tight tolerances on exotic alloys.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Operations to improve cycle times.
