Job summary

Aerotek in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate CNC Mills, program with CAM software, and verify parts to tight tolerances. The role requires 3-axis vertical mill programming, setup, and running multiple units as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of direct hands-on experience with CNC Mills.
• 3 years of experience with tool changes, edits of G&M codes, offsets, and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency in programming with WorkNC CAM or RTM/Lemoine CAM Software.

Responsibilities

• Operate numerically controlled machine tools
• Perform complex machining operations to exacting tolerance and specifications
• Check parts for conformance to specifications
• Run multiple units simultaneously if necessary
• Program CNC 3 Axis vertical mills
• Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills
• Understand and apply Fanuc and G&M codes
• Perform quality checks and make necessary machine offsets
