Job summary

LMI is seeking a CNC Programmer in Fredonia, KS to support high-speed machining operations. You will program 3/4- and 5-axis centers using Catia CAM and MasterCAM, read blueprints, and work with QA to ensure quality parts on time.

Requires 2-4 years of related experience and strong GD&T skills. Work with engineers and production teams to optimize tooling, speeds, and feeds while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Catia CAM programming for 3/4- and 5-axis machines on HS CAM software.
• 2-4 years of related CNC programming experience.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint reading and measurement interpretation.
• Familiarity with MasterCAM and CMM inspection data.

Responsibilities

• Program and modify 3/4-axial and 5-axis high-speed machining on HS centers.
• Study drawings, determine tolerances, tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Create setup sheets and verify initial set-up accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain programming library and shop floor documentation.
