Job summary

Consolidated Equipment Group seeks a skilled CNC Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills in Elwood, KS. You will read blueprints, deburr parts, and ensure dimensional accuracy while supporting multiple machines and shifts.

Qualifications

• CNC programming knowledge through experience or vocational school training
• Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and running CNC machines
• Experience with Okuma and/or Doosan mills and lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and determine critical dimensions and tolerances

Responsibilities

• Program CNC lathes and mills using company software
• Read blueprints to determine critical dimensions and tolerances
• Set up machines, tooling, and fixtures
• Machine parts per drawing for standard and non-standard production
• Complete inspections and deburring of parts
• Run multiple machines and programs as needed
• Work in a team environment and adapt to schedules
• Optimize machine efficiency with current tooling and technology
• Follow established setups from shift to shift
• Set up next shift operators and communicate effectively
