Job summary

Kelly Engineering Project Services Consultant is seeking CNC Programmers to join our Elmira, NY team. First-shift positions require 2–5 years of CNC programming and setup, with entry-level options for graduating students.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill, with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include programming, setting up mills and lathes for prototype and low-volume NPI runs, performing first article inspections, and ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of CNC machining experience with programming, setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up CNC machines (mills, lathes) for prototype and low-volume runs.
• Review designs for manufacturability and machining capabilities.
• Perform first article inspections and verify part dimensions.
• Troubleshoot CNC tooling, machines and processes during NPI phases.
• Transfer new processes from NPI to sustained production with training support.
