A leading staffing firm is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator in Elmira, NY for a 12-month contract position. The candidate will develop and maintain CNC machining processes, providing technical support and programming. The role offers a pay range of $30 - $35/hour, negotiable based on experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, programming, and training operators. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree or relevant experience, possessing strong skills in CNC processes and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; or minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for existing processes, including hands-on troubleshooting.
• Performs programming and debugging of CNC programming and processes.
• Measures parts using manual gaging and automated methods.
• Partakes in training of Machine Operators on machine operations.
