Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a stable, growing manufacturing company in Michigan. You will interpret drawings and programming sheets, perform turning, milling, drilling, and related operations to close tolerances, and run programming, setup, and changeover within a safe, clean facility.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years CNC CAM programming experience (Mastercam preferred), strong attention to detail, and a reliable attendance record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years machine operator experience (conventional and CNC).
• Minimum 3 years CNC CAM programming.
• Mastercam programming preferred.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Team player; reliable and dedicated.
• High school diploma or equivalent; eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

JOB TITLE: CNC Programmer

Seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a stable, growing Manufacturing Company

What You’ll Do

• Interpret complicated drawings, program sheets, and instructions to determine work to be done.
• Conduct variety of turning, milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
• Run programming, setup, and change over.
• Perform a variety of inspection and gaging operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specifications.
• Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications.
• Clean machine, tooling, and parts.
• Run multiple machines simultaneously where possible.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 Years Machine Operator Conventional and/or CNC
• Minimum 3 Years CNC CAM Programming
• Master CAM Programing (Preferred)
• Excellent attendance record
• Team player
• Reliability and dedication
• High school diploma or equivalent Other: Physical Required and must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction
