Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs to manufacture complex components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure that the programs meet all technical and quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs to improve production quality and machine efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNC machinery, tools, and software to ensure the effective implementation of programming techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of the machined components to verify adherence to design specifications.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of programming, modifications, and performed adjustments.
  • Provide training and guidance to machine operators on the shop floor regarding the proper execution of CNC programs.
  • Continuously strive for improvements in existing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery, controls, and tooling.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks).
  • Excellent understanding of GD&T and standard technical.
  • Training in Lean Principles and Six Sigma.
  • Understanding of Process Flow, PFMEA.
  • Computer skills (MS Office—Excel, Word).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Education
  • A degree or certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Three to Five years of experience working with CNC Milling or CNC Lathes. Familiarity with Okuma, Speedio, Star or Tsugami machines preferred.
