Job summary

Opti Staffing Group in Gresham, OR is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a local precision shop. This hands-on role covers programming, setup, and production support across mills and lathes, with a focus on throughput and quality.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, troubleshoot programs, help with tooling, quotes, and prototypes, and collaborate with machinists to improve processes. Day shift, full-time, $35–$40/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• Must have CNC machining experience.
• Ability to program and set up both mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of tooling and machining processes.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes for a variety of jobs.
• Set up jobs and run them efficiently for operators.
• Troubleshoot programs, setups, tooling, and processes as needed.
• Improve workflows and production efficiency.
• Assist with quoting new jobs and determining machining requirements.
• Help select and purchase tooling and supplies.
• Assist with prototype development and first-run parts.
• Collaborate with machinists to optimize production.
